Who we are
Quiet Lantern is a small team in the UK. You can reach us at [email protected].
Sky Lines, the game
Sky Lines does not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and the game does not ask for permission to use the internet.
The game saves your progress, settings and best scores on your device so you can pick up where you left off. On Android, your device's own backup service may back this up to your Google account if you have device backup turned on. That is controlled by your device settings, not by us. Uninstalling the game removes the saved data from the device.
If you choose to share a picture of your network, the game creates the image on your device and hands it to the app you pick. We do not receive it.
Sky Lines is rated for everyone. App stores such as Google Play process your purchase under their own policies.
The beta sign-up form on this website
If you ask to join the beta, we collect the details you type into the form: your name, email address, age, region, the language you play in, and whether you'd like to hear about further testing and news.
- Why: to choose and contact beta testers, and to check that testers are aged 18 or over. If you tick the box, we'll also send you requests for further testing and an occasional newsletter about Sky Lines. If you don't tick it, we'll only contact you about this beta.
- Our legal basis: your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Where it's kept: in a private Google Sheet in our own Google account, and we also get a copy by email. Our website host, Cloudflare, passes your details on to Google but doesn't keep them. We don't sell your details or share them with anyone else.
- How long: until the beta has ended, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If you ticked the box, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw your consent, by emailing [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies or analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security.
